Testing & Accountability
Our Testing and Accountability Department supports each school in the implementation of the North Carolina Testing Program as well as federally required tests in the following ways:
- Training staff for each test
- Implementing data collection processes and procedures
- Assuring the security of testing materials
- Ensuring that testing is conducted in compliance with the NCDPI Testing Code of Ethics
- Analyzing and reporting data to inform instructional practices

State and local assessments are administered in accordance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction guidelines.
