Testing & Accountability

 
Our Testing and Accountability Department supports each school in the implementation of the North Carolina Testing Program as well as federally required tests in the following ways:
  • Training staff for each test
  • Implementing data collection processes and procedures
  • Assuring the security of testing materials
  • Ensuring that testing is conducted in compliance with the NCDPI Testing Code of Ethics
  • Analyzing and reporting data to inform instructional practices

Assessment and Testing Information:
Perquimans County Schools is committed to using assessments as a tool to support student learning and academic growth. State and local assessments are administered in accordance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction guidelines. For information about testing schedules, procedures, or assessments specific to a school, please contact the school directly. District-level questions may be directed to the Testing and Accountability Office.
