On September 1, 2021, Senate Bill 693 was signed into Session Law 2021-132. Among other requirements related to child welfare, this legislation requires all 6th through 12th grade public schools to share a document with information on child abuse and neglect, including age-appropriate information on sexual abuse, to students in grades 6-12 at the beginning of each school year. This document will be sent home with PCMS and PCHS students on Thursday, September 22nd as required by law. Click here to view the information.
